What Are Others Saying About The Audio CD
"How To Be A Confident Public Speaker!
No More Stage Fright!"
By
Speech Coach and Pedagogist Robert E. Burns

Robert Burns has taught or trained over 6,000 in the science and art of effective public speaking and communication!
Now, for the first time, he brings to the public his time proven techniques in an exciting new CD:
"How To Be A Confident Public Speaker!
No More Stage Fright!"

"Worth many times what I paid for it! Of all the self-help and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) tapes and CDs I've used, yours is the only one created by a college professor with degrees in communication and public speaking, instead of someone whose expertise is hypnotherapy or holistic medicine. You've been in the trenches for over 25 years and actually 'walked the walk' your whole life. You've really perfected your art. Without question, this one is the best!"
(R. Ryan, Rhode Island-Music Producer)

"It's very encouraging and it offers hope for anyone suffering with speech anxiety. I know it can be frightening to go through speaker's panic but using a tool like this can be very encouraging. Just to know that there is a tool that can help you is a very good first step. And to know that there are specific steps to take that are a means to help somebody get past their anxiety is most reassuring. I would recommend this CD because it is an effective way for people to privately, and in their own way, and in their own home, be able to visualize, and not to have to do this in front of others and feel all that pressure. Sometimes it's even too much to call someone for help. This CD can be played in your car or in your home and it can help you get beyond that initial fright. And that fright can be paralyzing. This CD will help you retrain your mind and put public speaking in its proper perspective. I highly recommend it!"
(J. Cushman, Connecticut-Sales Person Who Suffered With High Speech Anxiety)

Professor Robert Burns once had a debilitating fear of public speaking that controlled everything he did. This severe fear of public speaking, called 'laliophobia', made every public speaking assignment an anxiety-ridden nightmare, until he learned the underlying causes of his psychological and physiological reactions to speaking. It wasn't until graduate school, as a rhetoric and communication teacher, that he began to master the science of overcoming high speech anxiety or 'stage fright'. Today his audio CD is helping others understand, manage, and overcome their speech anxiety.
Originally released as a tape for his students and corporate clients, demand has been so great that Robert Burns has agreed to release this latest version as a CD for the general public. People who don't have the opportunity to learn from him in his private seminars can now learn from him in the privacy of their own homes.
In this latest version, during the positive visualization segment, he incorporates new meditation music specifically designed to promote an 'alpha-wave' response from the listener. Over the past 30 years countless studies have demonstrated the benefits of functioning at the 'alpha level' (relaxation, memory retention, habit control, positive self image reinforcement, etc.), particularly the ability to bridge the gap between the conscious and sub-conscious minds. This enables a person to, in-effect, re-program himself/herself, replacing negative thoughts and habits with their positive counterparts. With this music underscoring Professor Burns' visualization exercise, the new positive thought patterns emerge in less time, hastening the listener's progress. The exercise also makes for a great 'booster shot' when used before a particularly stressful speaking situation. All in all the new CD is Robert Burns' most powerful work.

"Fantastic. I would absolutely recommend it to others. I listen to it two or three times a day and it has helped me in my positive imagery of preparing my speeches and my daily events. Just the sound of your voice is like a trigger that helps me to relax and visualize positively for when I'm preparing for a speech or when I'm preparing for a difficult day at the office. I'll be honest with you, any time I'm feeling a little anxiety or my emotions are a little bit out of control, I just put your CD in and press play and I feel better. I keep it in my car's CD player at all times and I purchased an extra CD for my home. On my presentation days I play it several times. Absolutely, your CD has helped me and continues to help me!"
(M. Wallace, CEO-Massachusetts)

"I would recommend this CD as a valid first-line treatment for this disorder of speech anxiety. Your CD is a valid first-line alternative to anti-anxiety medication. It will help people with speech fears and communication apprehension and it offers great hope for growth. "
